Polar Plunge

Our first polar plunge (http://www.plungemn.org/) of the season! 

Local weatherman (what the heck was his name??) joined in the fun in raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics of MN (http://specialolympicsminnesota.org/), on what had to be the coldest day of the year. Inside our ‘heated tent’ it was a balmy 15 degrees. Outside – about -5 it seemed. The lake was freezing over so fast that they had to keep clearing the ice out of the jumping hole so people wouldn’t hurt themselves on the newly formed ice! 

Despite the cold conditions though everyone had a fantastic time, fighting for a cause that we all believe so very strongly in. 

A big thanks to Special Olympics for asking us to be a part of the amazing work that they do.
