Tracy and I had the pleasure of meeting at an industry event in Seattle a few months ago. His company Atomic! was providing these insane set designs and we were doing our slow motion booth thing for the International Special Events Society (ISES) and their national convention in Seattle. Tracy and Russ saw our video from the event (here) and loved it so much that they had to have it at their own wedding!
So – it was off to Santa Barbara!
Tracy and Russ selected Chase Palm Park as their location for their Santa Barbara Wedding and the setting was to die for (as I expected from what I knew of Tracy). Every little detail was perfect and elegant and everything worked together to create an ambiance that reflected Tracy and Russ’ personality and taste. We were able to tie in some of the character of their wedding with the booth by using the natural setting of the park. The light pink stone wall covered in ivy with a wooden park bench was the perfect setting (and a nice additional prop) to create our slow motion video!
